Few stretches of the Turkish Mediterranean coast announce themselves quite as dramatically as Alanya does. The Sapadere Canyon, carved by a tributary of the Dim River, is one such place, where cool air and vertical rock walls offer a sharp contrast to the heat of the coast below.
