Berat: Onufri National Iconographic Museum Entry Tickets at Onufri National Iconographic Museum
選擇您的體驗
Entry tickets to the Onufri National Iconographic Museum give access to one of Albania's most significant collections of Byzantine and post-Byzantine religious art, held in Berat, a city recognised for its Ottoman-era architecture and historic churches. The museum is housed within the Cathedral of the Dormition of Saint Mary inside Berat Castle, and takes its name from Onufri, the 16th-century Albanian iconographer known for his distinctive use of a vivid red pigment.
Visitors move through rooms displaying icons, liturgical objects, and ecclesiastical manuscripts spanning several centuries, with Onufri's own works forming the centrepiece of the collection. His son Nikolla is also represented. Tickets cover general admission to the permanent collection. Berat sits roughly 120 kilometres south of Tirana, and is accessible by bus or private transfer from the capital.
