Washington Monument entry tickets provide access to one of the most recognisable structures in Washington DC. The obelisk, completed in 1884 and standing at 169 metres, was the tallest man-made structure in the world at the time of its completion. It was built to honour George Washington, the first President of the United States, and remains a central feature of the National Mall alongside other Washington DC attractions.

Visitors travel by lift to the observation level near the top, where windows face in four directions and offer views across the city, the Potomac River, and into Virginia and Maryland. The interior also features commemorative stones donated by states, foreign governments, and civic organisations. Tickets are timed and must be reserved in advance, with entry managed by the National Park Service.
