Welcome Suica IC Card

The Welcome Suica IC Card is a prepaid contactless travel card for visitors to Tokyo, accepted on the city's metro, JR lines, buses, and monorail services. Valid for 28 days from first use, it removes the need to purchase individual tickets at station machines and works across most public transport operators in the greater Tokyo area.

The card can also be used for payments at convenience stores, vending machines, and many shops and restaurants throughout Tokyo. It is available in set denominations and cannot be topped up or refunded once the balance is spent, so choosing the right value at purchase is worth considering.
