Good to Know

Arrive at least 30 minutes before your ticketed ferry departure at both Pier 33 for Alcatraz and Pier 39 for the bay cruise. Bring valid photo identification for ticket validation. Only small bags are permitted as large luggage is not allowed on either experience.

On Alcatraz Island, you can only eat and drink in designated areas. Follow wildlife protection rules and do not feed the birds or other animals. The tour is family-friendly and wheelchair accessible.
