O tym miejscu

The Computerspielemuseum in Berlin is the world's first permanent museum dedicated entirely to the history and culture of computer and video games. Located on Karl-Marx-Allee in the Friedrichshain district, it opened its doors in 1997 as a travelling exhibition before establishing its permanent home in Berlin in 2011. The museum traces the evolution of interactive entertainment from the earliest arcade machines and home consoles of the 1970s through to contemporary gaming culture, with a collection spanning rare hardware, original software, and playable exhibits.

Visitors can explore more than 300 exhibits across the permanent collection, handling controllers and playing games from across the decades. The museum treats gaming not merely as a leisure pursuit but as a significant strand of twentieth and twenty-first century cultural history. Entry tickets for the permanent Computer Games Museum exhibition are available, giving access to one of the most comprehensive collections of gaming history in Europe.
